CoinPoker's New Client: A Mixed Bag of Changes and Issues

CoinPoker launched a new client with significant changes and new features, but the update has caused technical issues and increased rake, leading to player dissatisfaction.

Player Reactions

Aurora criticized the new client for critical bugs, such as the stack size not updating after an action, and the increased rake. Nikolay dyrdom1 also noted the increased rake and criticized the new software for its issues, stating that the software is still raw and needs improvements.

Ambassador Responses

Patrick Leonard and Ben Rolle, ambassadors of CoinPoker, addressed player concerns about the increased rake. They mentioned a new reward system and promised to work on improving the rakeback structure. The new client has introduced changes to rakeback and bonuses, with a new reward system and conversion of CHP tokens to Poker Locked Bonus.

Design and Features

GregGT praised the new design for its multitable features, allowing players to choose different backgrounds for their tables. However, he also noted existing bugs in the software, highlighting that all poker rooms face similar issues and that it is unreasonable to expect a newly released product to be flawless.
