British Poker Pro Carolina Norwaisaite Misses WSOP Bracelet by a Hair
In the recently concluded WSOP Event #23, British poker player Carolina Norwaisaite, known as KarolinaNe, narrowly missed out on winning the WSOP bracelet. She lost the final hand to Nuño Capucho, a Portuguese player known as Albertov.
Carolina Norwaisaite and Nuño Capucho were the final two players standing in WSOP Event #23. At the start of the heads-up, Carolina had three times fewer chips than Nuño. Despite this, she put up a strong fight and nearly equaled his stack. However, in the final hand, Carolina lost with 4-4 against Nuño's K-Q. The board ran K♦ on the turn, but Carolina's flush draw did not come in, and the king on the river secured Nuño's victory.
Carolina Norwaisaite would have won the first female bracelet at WSOP Online 2021 if she had won. Nuño Capucho won $190,000 for his victory, while Carolina Norwaisaite won $143,000 for her second-place finish.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
