Cardmates Updates Review Section for Poker Rooms
Cardmates has updated the review section for poker rooms to include a new interface for leaving reviews. The new review interface includes fields for rating, advantages, disadvantages, personal comments, and a poker room nickname/ID. The rating system uses a 5-star scale, where 5 stars indicate an excellent room and 1 star indicates a poor room. Users can also specify the advantages and disadvantages of the poker room, and leave a personal comment based on their experience. Additionally, there is an optional field for users to enter their nickname or ID in the poker room, which will only be visible to the site administration and official representatives of the poker room. This is intended to help representatives address any issues or problems that arise in their room.
Cardmates has also added a separate page outlining the rules for publishing reviews. This page aims to prevent spam and ensure that reviews are honest and informative. Users are encouraged to read these rules carefully before leaving their review. The rules can be found on the Cardmates website.
With these updates, Cardmates hopes to make the review section more informative and useful for its readers. The new interface and rules are designed to provide a better understanding of whether a particular poker room is suitable for a user, and whether it is worth registering and playing there.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
