Calvin Anderson Secures Eighth WSOP Bracelet in Online Event
Calvin Anderson has made history by winning his eighth career World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in the WSOP Online $777 buy-in no-limit hold’em Lucky 7’s event. This victory places him in an elite group, tying him with Daniel Negreanu and Nick Schulman, who each earned their eighth bracelets this summer.
Anderson's success this year has been remarkable. He earned two titles at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, including the $10,000 razz championship and the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. championship. His latest win came with $48,914 in prize money, marking his third online bracelet triumph. With this victory, Anderson now has more than $9.4 million in career cashes to his name.
Anderson's journey to this milestone has been impressive. He first took down the $10,000 razz championship to become the winningest razz player in WSOP history, surpassing all-time bracelet leader Phil Hellmuth in the process. Just four days later, Anderson emerged victorious in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. championship, marking his fourth win in one of the championship events. In addition to this H.O.R.S.E. win and two victories in razz, he also took down the eight-game mix in 2024.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
