Bundaberg Woman Wins AU$1 Million on First Weekday Windfall Ticket
A woman from Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, won AU$1 million from the Weekday Windfall lottery on her first attempt. The winning numbers for the Weekday Windfall draw 4706 on Friday, May 22, 2026, were 24, 17, 9, 25, 37, and 12, with supplementary numbers 6 and 28.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sugarland Newsagency, Shop 26 at Sugarland Plaza on Heidke Street in Avoca. The winner was told by a friend about the Weekday Windfall lottery game and decided to give it a try.
The woman admitted that she was initially in disbelief after winning the top prize. She said that she couldn’t believe such a huge fortune had come her way when checking the ticket on Friday. She had to ring her daughter and get her to check the ticket to make sure she was right.
