Bryn Kenney's PokerNews Interview: A Train Wreck of Cheating Allegations

Poker player Bryn Kenney recently sat down for an interview with PokerNews to address serious allegations of cheating leveled by Martin Zamani and Lauren Roberts. The interview, conducted by Sarah Herring, quickly became a subject of controversy due to Herring's long-standing friendship with Kenney.

Brian Micon, a prominent figure in the poker community, criticized the interview setup, stating that journalism 101 dictates that someone else should have conducted the interview given Herring's friendship with Kenney. Chad Holloway, PokerNews’ US Executive editor, explained that Kenney insisted on being interviewed only by Herring, leaving no other options for the publication.

During the interview, Kenney denied using Real Time Assistance and stated he has no interest in staking anyone if it’s not themselves playing. When asked about seeing Martin Zamani's screen, Kenney described the claim as "one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard in my life and has absolutely zero truth to it." He also claimed that Teamviewer pops up when you turn on your screen. Regarding Lauren Roberts' accusations, Kenney deflected questions, stating that Roberts owes him money and that he always paid for her dinners.
