Bryn Kenney Accused of Cheating and Threatening Players
Poker player Bryn Kenney is at the center of a controversy involving allegations of cheating and threatening other players. Lauren Roberts posted screenshots of a conversation with Kenney where he allegedly claimed she owed him over $2 million. The screenshots were part of a recent argument where Roberts asked for an accounting of the debt, but Kenney's claims were inconsistent.
Martin Zamani, a former associate of Kenney, accused him of various cheating methods. These include ghosting, collusion, multi-accounting, and forcing players to drop stakes for not following Kenney’s alleged bizarre lifestyle. Zamani also claimed that Kenney involved shamans in staking deals and stole agencies from friends.
In response to the allegations, Kenney denied any involvement in cheating and promised a detailed response. However, his follow-up statement has not yet been released. The controversy has sparked discussions about cheating in the poker community, with other players like Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler also facing similar accusations.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
