Brian Hastings Wins 6th WSOP Gold Bracelet in 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw
Brian Hastings made history by winning his sixth WSOP gold bracelet in the $10k Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship. Hastings' victory earned him a substantial prize of $292,146. This win places him in an elite group of players who have achieved six WSOP gold bracelets, including Daniel Negreanu, Chris Ferguson, TJ Cloutier, John Hennigan, Jeff Lisandro, Layne Flack, Ted Forrest, and Jay Heimowitz.
Hastings' journey to the top was not without challenges. He faced off against some of the game's greatest names, including Phil Hellmuth and Shaun Deeb. Hellmuth, who was chasing his 17th bracelet, finished 8th in the tournament. Deeb, also aiming for his sixth bracelet and Player of the Year points, was eliminated in 4th place.
Dan Zack, who was riding high on the Player of the Year leaderboard, finished 3rd. Eric Wasserson, who finished 2nd, was the runner-up in the event. Hastings showed down 8x/6x/5x/4x/2x on the third draw to secure his victory.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
