Poker Pro Bill Perkins Goes Vegetarian After Watching Seaspiracy
Bill Perkins, a well-known American poker player and businessman, has announced that he has become a vegetarian. This decision came after watching the documentary Seaspiracy on Netflix. Perkins shared his journey and the inspiration behind his decision on Twitter.
In a tweet, Perkins revealed that he had been gradually reducing his intake of animal products over the years. He mentioned that at the age of 21, he stopped eating animals that breathe air. From ages 21 to 25, he further reduced his consumption of various sea creatures, including mollusks, swordfish, octopuses, and other seafood. After watching Seaspiracy, he decided to completely eliminate seafood from his diet, declaring himself a vegetarian.
Perkins also mentioned that his next challenge is to reduce his sugar intake. He has started a personal challenge called "30 days without sugar" and is currently on day ten of his sugar-free diet.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
