Bill Perkins Spends $2 Million on CryptoPunks: Here's What He Said
Bill Perkins, a prominent figure in the poker world and a seasoned investor, has made headlines recently for his significant investment in CryptoPunks. Perkins spent a total of $2.4 million on nine CryptoPunks, paying 860.86 ETH for the collection.
Perkins initially purchased one CryptoPunk and later decided to invest more, stating that he wanted to pay an amount that would "hurt a bit." He expressed uncertainty about his feelings regarding the purchases, saying, "I'm not sure how I feel about it."
Despite his initial hesitation, Perkins went on to buy two more CryptoPunks, solidifying his position in the NFT market. His investment comes at a time when CryptoPunks and other NFTs have seen a surge in popularity and value.
