Berri Sweet's Favorite Hands and Latest Poker News
Poker player Berri Sweet recently shared his favorite hands in PLO and NLHE. In PLO, he prefers small connectors such as 8653ds and 8643ds. He mentioned that he used to 3-bet with small connectors from any position in 6-max, but solvers do not approve of this play.
In NLHE, Berri Sweet has had mixed experiences with the hand 85o, which he once used to win $100k from Linus. However, he later lost significant amounts with this hand and no longer favors it. He also noted that hands like T9o and 24s have been quite profitable for him recently.
Recent poker news includes Phil Hellmuth's expensive session on streams, where he lost $160,000, setting a personal record for a loss in televised games over the past 11 years. Alan Keating played a session with a VPIP of 86, which is twice as high as the closest competitor. Chamath Palihapitiya, a billionaire and friend of Phil Hellmuth, was the most profitable player in the session.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
