Azartia Poker Shuts Down: Players Migrate to Cirsa.es

Azartia Poker has announced that it will cease its operations on December 15, 2011. The news was communicated through a forum post by the representative of Azartia Poker, followed by an email to all players.

Users of Azartia Poker can withdraw their money both before and after the closure date. However, accumulated Azartia Points and VIP levels will not be retained beyond December 15, 2011.

Azartia Poker has recommended Cirsa.es as an alternative online gaming service. Cirsa.es, operated by the multinational gaming company Cirsa, will be operational from the end of 2011 to the beginning of 2012. As a welcome offer, Cirsa.es will provide a 100% bonus up to 200 euros to all players transitioning from Azartia Poker, along with the maximum VIP level for a month.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
