Artur Martirosyan Misses Out on Bracelet in $250k WSOP Tournament
The $250,000 buy-in tournament at the World Series of Poker has been held three times, with the 2023 edition attracting 69 entries. The winner of this year's tournament received $5.3 million.
Artur Martirosyan made two entries into the tournament and built up to the fifth-largest stack by the end of the first day. He eliminated Nick Schulman and became the chip leader with a stack of 6.7 million.
Jason Koon missed the second day of the tournament due to the birth of his second son and had his buy-in refunded. Nikita Bodiakovsky was eliminated from the tournament after pushing all-in against Phil Ivey. Martin Kabrhel was noted for his disruptive behavior and aggressive bluffing throughout the tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
