Andrey Novak, known by his online handle Anjeyyy, has made Ukraine proud by winning the SCOOP-44-H tournament, earning a massive $253,000. The tournament, which had a prize pool of $1,320,000, attracted 264 participants, with 31 players making it to the in-the-money zone.
The final table featured strong players, including Sergey Kolyakov from Russia, who finished fifth and earned $83,000. Novak's opponent in the final was Odonkor1 from Sweden. The intense head-to-head battle lasted for an hour and a half, with the lead constantly changing hands. At one point, Novak was left with very few chips, but he managed to double up and return to the game. In the final hand of the evening, Novak collected a top pair on the flop and defeated his opponent.
This victory marks Novak's second-highest career earnings, with his highest being $309,000 from the WCOOP tournament in 2015. Novak has been playing poker for about ten years and has won over $1,200,000 in his career.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
