Andrew Robl Returns to the US After European Poker Tour
Professional poker player Andrew Robl has returned to the United States after an extensive European tour. Robl arrived in Las Vegas two weeks ago, marking the end of his European journey. During his time in Europe, Robl won a significant amount of money, totaling $430,000 online and an additional $300,000 from securing third place in the EPT London High Roller tournament.
Despite his initial success, Robl has since faced financial setbacks. Since returning to the US, he has lost $300,000 online and $40,000 in live games. These losses highlight the volatile nature of professional poker, where wins and losses can fluctuate dramatically.
Robl's return to the US also coincides with his plans to take a break from poker to recover from his recent downswing. He mentioned that his mother is visiting, and they plan to attend some shows and possibly a club. Robl hopes to be mentally prepared to return to poker on Monday, which would be welcomed by Doyl Branson, who has been complaining about the lack of players in Bobby’s Room.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
