Andrew Li Becomes Supernova Elite in Just 59 Days
Andrew Li has made history in the online poker world by earning 1,000,000 VPP in just 59 days, beating the previous record set by George "jorj95" Lind by two weeks. This achievement secured him the prestigious Supernova Elite (SNE) status.
Li's journey to becoming an SNE began in 2004 when he was inspired by Chris Moneymaker's win at the Main Event. He started playing Sit & Go (SnG) tournaments and later moved to cash games. Li first became an SNE in 2008 and has maintained this status ever since.
In an interview, Li shared his strategy for earning VPP points. He can earn 3,000-4,000 VPP per hour by playing 40 SnG tables simultaneously. Li also enjoys activities like skiing, cycling, and socializing with friends, showing that his life is not solely dedicated to online poker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
