The EPT National tournament, held in Sochi, had 508 players each paying a $1,100 buy-in, creating a prize pool of $492,760. The event, initially planned for spring, was postponed to October due to the coronavirus.
Anatoly Zyrin emerged as the champion of the EPT National tournament, winning $95,520. Almat Idrisov finished as the runner-up, earning $59,940. Yuri Brechalov finished third, taking home $42,900.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
