Russian Model Aliisa Sibgatova Makes Waves at EPT Monte-Carlo

Aliisa Sibgatova, a model and designer from Saint Petersburg, made her mark at the EPT Monte-Carlo. The Russian beauty finished 27th in the EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event, earning €23,100. This was her first major poker tournament, and she attracted significant attention from Russian media and poker enthusiasts.

Sibgatova is no stranger to the spotlight. She won a beauty contest in China in 2008. Around 10 years ago, she launched her own clothing brand, Vanda Fondunaeva, on the Philippines. Her foray into poker seems to be more of a hobby than a serious pursuit, as she is not a professional poker player.

Prior to the EPT Monte-Carlo, Sibgatova participated in the French National Championship. She finished 143rd, earning €2,100. This was her first recorded prize in poker. Her performance at the EPT Monte-Carlo has sparked interest in her future poker endeavors, but it remains to be seen whether she will continue to pursue the game seriously.
