Alexonmoon on Nosebleed, Gus Hansen and His Poker Career

Alexonmoon, also known as Alex Lunel, is a French poker player who has played on Full Tilt and PokerStars. He is sponsored by Winamax but primarily plays mix games on PokerStars. Alexonmoon mentions that the poker game 2-7 has practically died out, and he now focuses on other mix games like Omaha Hi-Lo and HORSE.

Alexonmoon discusses the documentary Nosebleed, which features high-stakes poker games and players like Gus Hansen. He notes that Gus Hansen's playing style attracted many weak players, making the games more profitable. Alexonmoon recalls that Gus Hansen played multiple tables simultaneously, sometimes up to 24 hours without a break. He also mentions that Gus Hansen's loss rate was not as bad as commonly believed due to the large number of hands he played.

Alexonmoon mentions that Gus Hansen has returned to playing poker occasionally, and he discusses his own poker career, including his transition from NLHE to PLO. He played in Bobby's Room during the summer and shares his thoughts on the impact of the documentary Nosebleed on his own career.
