888poker Partners with WSOP for Historic Brazil Poker Event

888poker has announced a significant partnership with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) to sponsor the WSOP Circuit Brazil, marking a historic event in the Brazilian poker scene. The event will take place from October 26 to November 2, 2016, at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo.

Beto Lima, CEO of BlueBox, the promoter of the WSOP Circuit Brazil, expressed his pride in the partnership. “It is with great pride that we sign this memorable partnership between the WSOP Circuit Brazil and 888poker. It will be an extension of an already established alliance between this renowned brand of success in the world of poker with the WSOP. Having 888poker by our side certainly helps ensure that our events in Brazil have the same level of quality and playability as our already impeccable and famous 'eldest' WSOP Vegas. And the already mature Brazilian poker market deserves the best.”

The WSOP Circuit Brazil will feature satellites starting from October 3, 2016. These satellites will be available on the 888poker platform, offering various buy-in options ranging from free to $160. The satellites will run until the weekend before the event, providing multiple opportunities for players to qualify for the Main Event and the Crazy Eights. Bruno Foster, the Brazilian ambassador for Team888, shared his excitement about the event, stating, “Poker in Brazil has grown a lot and already deserved to have the WSOP Circuit, which truly represents the World Cup of Poker. I, as November Nine and ambassador of 888poker and poker in Brazil, feel immensely happy, it will be incredible to bring together once again – and now in Brazil – the maximum brand of the sport, which is the WSOP, with the giant of online poker, the 888poker. I am sure it will be the biggest poker party that Brazil has ever seen.”
