888poker Launches League for Brazilian Players to Qualify for WSOP
888poker, the second-largest online poker brand, has launched the 888League, a tournament league between players from seven countries, including Brazil, to qualify for the 888poker event at the World Series of Poker 2016.
The countries involved in the 888League are the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Poland, Sweden, Australia, and Brazil. The 888League tournaments, running until May 20, have buy-ins of $0.10, $1, and $5 and accumulate points for national rankings.
The top 27 players from each country will win tickets to the Grand Final Championship on May 23, where they will compete for a $3,000 package to the 888poker “Crazy Eights” WSOP event in Las Vegas. The 888League will feature stars such as Sofia Lövgren, the Swedish ambassador for 888poker, who will be playing for her country.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
