Poker Stars of 2013 World Series: Nick Schwarmann, Grayson Ramage, and More

The 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was a stage for remarkable performances by several poker players. Nick Schwarmann, a 25-year-old from Florida, had over $80,000 in online prize money on PokerStars and reached the 76th place in the main event.

Grayson 'gray31' Ramage, also 25, had nearly $4 million in online prize money and several final table appearances in WCOOP. He finished 80th in the main event of the 2013 WSOP.

Steven Gi aimed to break Dan Harrington's record by reaching the final table of the main event in 2013. He won a WSOP bracelet in 2010 with a $1,000 buy-in and finished 24th in the main event of the 2013 WSOP.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
