Xrab Reveals Bot Wars in HU SNG: The Inside Story

Xrab, the leader of a bot cartel, recently shared his perspective on the ongoing bot wars in HU SNG poker games on the 2+2 forum. He clarified several misconceptions and revealed key details about the bot activities and their impact on the poker community.

Xrab's Perspective on Bot Wars

Xrab claims that the real victims of bot activity are top regulars in hyper-turbo games, not recreational players. He argues that the money lost by recreational players would eventually end up with those holding the lobby, regardless of bot activity. Xrab also mentions that bot wars result in significant rake burn and losses for all parties involved, making it a costly endeavor.

Xrab started his bot operations when European sites were already dominated by bots. He initially attempted to compete against bots in September 2016, resulting in a ChipEV of zero over 25,000 HU SNG tournaments. His second attempt in mid-2017 against another cartel resulted in a ChipEV of two over 10,000 SNG tournaments, indicating a slight advantage but still a challenging battle.
