WSOP Main Event Day 4: Key Moments and Player Highlights

The fourth day of the WSOP Main Event saw 1,476 participants return to the tables, with 15 eliminations already made. The organizers added an incentive by offering a $30,000 ticket to the winter tournament on the Bahamas for the player who busted on the bubble.

Saifia Umerova made a creative check-raise on the flop to win a massive pot against Andreas Christoforou. Umerova's top pair was enough to secure the victory. Josh Reichard doubled up against Thi Xoa Nguyen after a bold call on the river, finishing the day in the top 40 out of over 500 players.

Maxim Pisarenko and David McLous split a pot with a straight, while Ham Hameyker won with a long straight flush. Matthew Frankland won a $25,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event ticket through a draw, ensuring that no one left empty-handed. Michael Mizrahi doubled up against Saifia Umerova with a set, and Sylvia Studniarc won a significant pot against Jeff Gross with a straight. Joshua Bulton was eliminated by James Obst after a tough decision, leaving Obst with a substantial stack. Robert Bakkenmaier, the oldest participant at 81 years old, is making his fifth appearance in the WSOP Main Event. Ibrahim Senussi took a long time to decide on a call, using a calculator to assess his chances, adding drama to the day's events.
