WSOP Circuit Brazil 2017: Biggest Poker Event Returns to São Paulo
The WSOP Circuit Brazil 2017 is officially announced, marking its second edition with an impressive lineup of events and prizes. The event will take place from September 27 to October 4, 2017, at Parque do Ibirapuera – Bienal in São Paulo, Brazil.
This year, the WSOP Circuit Brazil promises to be even bigger than the previous edition. The guaranteed prize pool is set at R$ 5.000.000,00, with the winner of the main event and the overall ranking securing a spot in the WSOP Global Championship in the USA. The event is sponsored by PartyPoker, adding to the excitement and prestige of the tournament.
The 2016 edition of WSOP Circuit Brazil was a massive success, with 2981 entries in the opening tournament, the Brazilian Storm. The event featured 150 tables, 26 tournaments, 14 coveted WSOP rings, over 300 collaborators, and a total audience of 12,000 people. This year, organizers expect to surpass these numbers with more tournaments, satellites, and new structures.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
