WSOP 2022: Kenney, Imsirovic, and Schindler Attend Amid Cheating Scandal
The 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicked off with a significant controversy surrounding several high-profile players. Bryn Kenney, Ali Imsirovic, and Jake Schindler all attended Event #2: $100,000 High Roller Bounty despite being embroiled in a cheating scandal.
Bryn Kenney gave a soft interview with PokerNews regarding the cheating scandal, while Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler have remained largely out of sight since the accusations broke. Imsirovic recently tweeted that he would donate 50% of his winnings from events with buy-ins of $25k and less to a children's charity.
Doug Polk, a prominent figure in the poker community, criticized Imsirovic's charity donation announcement on Twitter, stating that such actions do not absolve the accused of their alleged misconduct. Meanwhile, partypoker announced that it will operate a Blacklist for the #MILLIONSEurope festival in Barcelona, banning all players who have been banned online with them.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
