WSOP 2011: 58 Final Tables to Stream Live, Champion's Tournament on Hiatus
The 2011 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to be an exciting event with several new features. One of the most notable changes is that 58 final tables will be broadcast live on WSOP.com with a 5-minute delay. This allows viewers from around the world to watch the action as it happens, with two cameras capturing the action from above and a general view of the participants.
Another significant change is the hiatus of the Champion's Tournament. Organizers have announced that the tournament is not being canceled but rather sent on a hiatus with plans to make it 'bigger and better' in the future. This decision comes as part of the ongoing efforts to improve the WSOP experience for players and spectators alike.
In addition to these changes, every player registered for the Main Event will receive a pair of slippers from DearFoams. This small gesture is part of the overall effort to enhance the player experience and make the WSOP a more enjoyable event for everyone involved.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
