Poker Networks WPN and Chico: What's New for US Players This Fall
Two major poker networks, WPN and Chico, continue to accept US players and offer various promotions and updates. Chico network has improved its bot-fighting measures, with 57 accounts blocked based on TylerRM's tip. The network has started refunding money from blocked accounts, with some players receiving hundreds to thousands of dollars. Chico's traffic has decreased by about a quarter since May but has since increased slightly.
Chico offers a weekly rake race with a prize pool of $10,000 for cash games. The Championship Online Poker Series runs until September 27 with a total guarantee of $2,500,000. WPN's traffic peaked in May with 257 cash tables but has since decreased to around 170-180 tables. WPN's The Beast rake race has reduced payouts, requiring higher rake to achieve the same bonuses.
WPN's MoMoMo PKO Series starts on September 9 with a guarantee of $50,000,000. The network has made a public Trello page for upcoming updates and changes. New players on PokerKing can receive a 100% bonus on their first deposit up to $1,000.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
