World Series of Poker Returns with Hybrid Online-Offline Format
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is returning in a hybrid online-offline format. The main event will start online on GGpoker and WSOP.com and conclude with live final tables in Las Vegas and Rozvadov. The main event will have the longest levels and deepest stacks in online poker history.
The final tables will be played live in Las Vegas and Rozvadov, with medical checks for all participants. The winner will receive a title, a gold bracelet, and a chance to win $1,000,000.
The US tournament will take place on WSOP.com with final tables in Las Vegas. The international tournament will have final tables in Rozvadov, with potential online alternatives. The winners of the US and international tournaments will play a heads-up match in Las Vegas. Satellites for the main event will be available on both WSOP.com and GGPoker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
