Winamax Launches Top Shark Academy in Spain to Find New Poker Talent

Winamax has started the first edition of the Top Shark Academy in Spain this week. The winner of the Top Shark Academy will join the Team Winamax and receive a 50,000 € contract to play in major tournaments worldwide. From November 8 to 30, 5 players will qualify each week to join the Top Shark Academy.

Each week, candidates will face two tests: one focused on poker and another on pedagogy or community interaction. The jury, composed of Adrián Mateos, Leo Margets, Guilaume Díaz, Álex Hernando, and Stéphane Matheu, will evaluate the candidates. The public vote will determine who leaves the academy each week, while the jury can grant immunity to the best performer.

The final test to determine the Top Shark will be held from January 9 to 16, 2020. New candidates will join the Top Shark Academy every Wednesday. Winamax is offering 50,000 EPs for the first deposit and up to 10,000 EPs daily for players who make at least 10€ of rake in the room.
