Win Tickets to Betfair Poker Live Satellite Event in Kiev

A contest was held on the GipsyTeam website to win tickets to the final satellite event of Betfair Poker Live in Kiev. The contest, announced on January 20, 2012, offered 10 winners the chance to win a $120 ticket to the final satellite event, which will take place on January 26, 2012, at 21:00 Moscow time.

The contest involved answering questions posed by Ilya Gorodetsky, a well-known figure in the poker community. The questions were based on Gorodetsky's experiences and anecdotes from his trips to Vegas and Kiev. Some of the questions included details about Gorodetsky's near-miss in Chicago, his declined offer to stay at the Encore hotel in Las Vegas, and his interactions with various poker professionals.

Gorodetsky shared several interesting stories and facts during the contest. He mentioned that he nearly got lost in the airport during a layover in Chicago while traveling to Vegas. He was also offered free accommodation in the Encore hotel in Las Vegas but declined. Additionally, Gorodetsky did not meet John Tabatabai during his trip to Vegas and did not meet Dmitry Lesnoy during the press conference before the Betfair Poker Live event in Kiev. During his stay in Kiev, Gorodetsky stayed in the Faraon hotel, which is known for being the preferred hotel of Alla Pugacheva.
