WebMoney Users in Russia Face Six-Month Ban on Wallet Top-Ups
Starting from December 7, the Central Bank of Russia has prohibited WebMoney users from topping up their ruble wallets and transferring funds between them. The restriction will last for the next six months.
WebMoney stated that they have been compliant with Russian legislation for 23 years and have not committed any violations. The company expressed surprise at the Central Bank's decision, stating that it was unexpected.
WebMoney users can only pay for purchases in stores or taxes, and withdraw funds through the Fast Payment System (SBP). For those looking for alternative payment methods, WebMoney recommends familiarizing themselves with the article: Skrill or NETELLER: which payment system is better?.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
