WCOOP 10k Final Table: Anatsky and Pleshuv's Strategic Moves
The WCOOP 10k bounty tournament, held on September 15-16, 2024, attracted 73 entries and awarded prizes to the top 9 players. The first and second prize winners each received $86,137, with the winner also earning $122,500 for knockouts.
Among the finalists were Ilya Anatsky and Pavel Pleshuv. The final table featured a diverse group of players, including Johannes 'Jepser8' Straver (Austria) with 66.5 big blinds, Almaz 'Alister307' Zhdanov (Belarus) with 57.9 big blinds, Pavel 'silentm0de' Pleshuv (Moldova) with 40.8 big blinds, David 'MissOracle' Yan (New Zealand) with 35.2 big blinds, Talal 'raidalot' Shakerchi (UK) with 31.6 big blinds, Ilya 'Leqenden' Anatsky (Belarus) with 25.9 big blinds, Alisson 'heyalisson' Pekezewicz (Brazil) with 14.1 big blinds, Garik 'Garrin4e' Yaroshevsky (Slovenia) with 8.98 big blinds, and Alex 'I Attack95' Kulev (Bulgaria) with 8.18 big blinds.
Ilya Anatsky opened with A7o in the big blind against Pavel Pleshuv, who had J4s. On the flop, Pavel had a rainbow with a backdoor flush draw but did not place a continuation bet. Both players checked on the turn. On the river, Pavel bet 1 big blind into a pot of 5.67, and Anatsky raised to 5.67 with a straight. Pavel called, and their stacks nearly equalized.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
