Viktor Kudinov's Aggressive Poker Moves Analyzed by Uri Pelega

Viktor Kudinov is a high-stakes poker player known for his aggressive strategies. In a recent video, Uri Pelega, a trainer at Guerrilla Poker, analyzed some of Viktor's hands, providing insights into his unique approach to the game.

In one hand, Viktor opens with a 2.5 bb raise from the button, Kevin Paquet calls from the small blind, and Stefan Burakov folds on the big blind. Uri discusses the preflop strategy, noting that calling raises on the small blind is generally not advised but can be acceptable at higher limits due to reduced rake. Kevin checks, and Viktor bets a third of the pot, which Kevin calls.

On the turn, a four does not help either player, and Kevin checks again. Viktor bets two pots on the turn, a move described as a giant sizing. Uri explains the concept of geometric sizing and how Viktor's move deviates from it. Kevin calls Viktor's bet, and the river card strengthens both players' hands. Viktor goes all-in, and Kevin calls with KJo. Viktor shows Q9o with blocking suits, a move that seems counterintuitive but is part of his aggressive strategy.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
