Five Epic Poker Hands of Viktor Blom: Izildur1's PLO Showdowns
Viktor Blom, known as Izildur1, played five notable poker hands in Pot-Limit Omaha in November 2009.
The first hand involved Izildur1 playing against Patrik Antonius with a hand of Jack-nine-eight-seven, one suit. Izildur1 bet 14k into a pot of 18k on the flop, and Antonius raised to the full pot. Izildur1's hand against Antonius resulted in a win of approximately $800,000.
The fourth hand featured Izildur1 against Phil Ivey, where Izildur1 had a top pair and a wrap against Ivey's wrap and flush draw. Izildur1 bet almost the full pot on the turn, and Ivey raised, leading to Izildur1 going all-in with about 20% equity.
The third hand between Izildur1 and Antonius involved a premium hand for Izildur1, who raised pre-flop.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
