Vegas Matt Banned from Venetian After $400K Slot Win
The Venetian casino in Las Vegas banned Matt 'Vegas Matt' Morrow, a popular gambling influencer, after he won a $400,000 slot jackpot. Morrow, a 62-year-old gambler with 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube, claimed that the Venetian booted him last year after his significant win. Security escorted him off the property, and Morrow denied that he used any advantage play to secure the win.
Matt 'Vegas Matt' Morrow posted on X/Twitter that he played a Phoenix link but left the counter higher than he started it, which is hardly advantage play. He also said he prefers giving his business to properties that are happy when he wins. Morrow just won $260K at Fontainebleau and he’s here playing again today.
A well-capitalized gambler can ensure a positive result when playing over the long term and hitting a jackpot. Slot advantage play rarely hurts a casino’s bottom line, but it can reduce the money available to other players. A casino’s return to player (RTP) determines how much of the wagered money the slots return as winnings. An advantage player does not upend this structure. They simply take a chunk of the money available.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
