Poker Pro Vanesaa Criticizes Espen Jorstad's Strategy in WSOP Main Event

Espen Jorstad won the WSOP Main Event, claiming the $10M first-place prize. However, poker veteran Vanesaa criticized his strategy, stating that he did not adapt to his opponent's exploitable play.

Vanesaa noted that Adrian Attenborough played in a way that was easily exploitable. She mentioned specific instances where Attenborough's actions were clear tells, which Jorstad failed to capitalize on. Vanesaa's criticism was echoed by Ury Peleg, who agreed that modern poker lacks exploitative thinking.

Patrick Leonard, part of Jorstad's support group, stated that they were satisfied with Jorstad's play. He mentioned that the stream was watched with a delay, so they could not see the specific hands in real-time. However, Vanesaa insisted that her critique was about the broader issue of GTO versus exploitative play, not just Jorstad's performance.
