Twitch Streamer Caught Using Poker Solver During Live Session
Felipe Carmanhani, a Twitch streamer, was caught using GTO Wizard during his session on PokerStars. The incident occurred when Carmanhani's window showing the solver output was visible during his play, raising suspicions among viewers.
PokerStars initially responded with a two-week ban for Carmanhani, which sparked outrage among the poker community. Many users on Poker Twitter expressed their discontent, arguing that the punishment was too lenient given the severity of the offense.
In response to the backlash, PokerStars' Director of Online Poker Experience issued an apology. He acknowledged that the offense was more serious than initially thought, especially considering the current concerns about Real-Time Assistance (RTA) use during play. The director promised a review of the internal process to prevent such incidents in the future and reiterated that the use of RTA is strictly prohibited.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
