Triton Super High Roller Series: Steve O’Dwyer and Brin Kenny Dominate

The Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro concluded with several notable players and significant wins. Steve O’Dwyer won the first tournament with HKD3,708,784 ($472,788). Brin Kenny won the second tournament with HKD11,230,000 ($1,431,264). Winfred Yu won the third tournament with HKD2,040,000 ($260,000).

Linus Leliger, who finished third in the first tournament, mentioned he dislikes traveling but made an exception for this series due to its proximity to his current residence in Austria. Linus Leliger started his poker career at 18, initially struggling on micro-limits but quickly advancing to high-stakes games. Linus Leliger considers short deck poker to be a 'broken' game with too many pre-flop all-ins, predicting it will lose popularity as players improve.

Steve O’Dwyer arrived in Montenegro in a tilt after a series of mistakes in previous tournaments. Steve O’Dwyer won the first tournament after a heads-up deal with Isaac Haxton. Dietrich Fast criticized Steve O’Dwyer’s play during the bubble phase of the first tournament. Brin Kenny won the second tournament with a series of strong plays, including many value bets and bluffs. Eric Seidel led the second tournament for a significant portion but was eliminated on the bubble. Leon Tsukernik led the third tournament for most of the first day but was eliminated in the final hand. Igor Shkliaruk finished fifth in the third tournament.
