Tom Dwan Secures Historic First Live Tournament Win at Triton Madrid
Tom Dwan has finally bagged his maiden victory on the Triton Poker SHR circuit, or in fact anywhere, by taking down the €25K PLO for a €290,000 payday in a pillar to post run to victory.
The Triton Madrid event featured 34 entries in the €25K PLO tournament. The event was wedged between the €100k NLH Main Event and the €100k Short Deck Main Event. Tom Dwan defeated Jeremy Ausmus in the final heads-up match, securing his first-ever live tournament win.
Patrik Antonius was eliminated in 4th place by Tom Dwan. Elton Tsang was eliminated by Tom Dwan.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
