Cheating Allegations Rock Texas Cardroom: Shuffling Machines Compromised
The unregulated world of Texas cardrooms has hit the headlines yet again, with Joey Ingram revealing that the Prime Social Poker Room in Houston is at the center of cheating allegations involving compromised shuffling machines.
The shuffler machines were placed in the high-stakes room and some lower stakes cash games at Prime Social Poker Club. The automatic shuffler in question is known as the “Shuffle Machine 2” and is considered exploitable if someone can gain access to it.
Matt Berkey revealed on the “Only Friends” podcast that the allegations involve three recreational players, one of whom is alleged to be a known cheater in L.A. The game in question also involved Martin Zamani, the whistleblower at the heart of the Bryn Kenney cheating scandal.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
