Russian Poker Pro swan4: From Streams to 'Svoya Igra'
swan4, a well-known figure in the Russian poker community, has had an eventful journey. He has opened and abandoned several blogs and even attempted to organize an open poker rap battle. His most notable venture, however, is 'Svoya Igra,' a unique poker format he first conducted on his streams in 2016. The first season of 'Svoya Igra' was a hit, with Flat emerging as the winner.
The second season of 'Svoya Igra' kicked off in late March 2017, with inner and iskander advancing to the final. swan4's journey into poker began at the age of 17 when he watched a tournament on 7tv with commentary by Ilya Gorodetsky. This sparked his interest, and he started playing poker, initially with fake data but later with his own account.
swan4's career took a turn when he faced health issues and financial problems, leading him to work at Euroset to cover living expenses. Despite this setback, he returned to poker and eventually started streaming. His streams, initially just for fun, evolved to include various activities like calling psychic hotlines and inviting guests. However, interacting more with the chat during streams affected his winrate, which decreased from over 10bb/100 to around 3bb/100.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
