Sunday Million Returns to partypoker with a Bang
The Sunday Million tournament has made a triumphant return to partypoker after a 13-year hiatus, featuring a $215 buy-in and a corresponding guarantee. The first day, Day 1A, saw an impressive 1,081 entries, setting the stage for an exciting competition. The final is scheduled for November 3, with four starting days leading up to it.
Patrick Leonard shared that he was eliminated in the first hand of the Sunday Million tournament. Rob Yong responded with a lighthearted comment, suggesting that keeping the starting days as freezeouts would give regular players a better chance against professionals.
Fedor Holz shared a morning pool photo, highlighting the excellent temperature at 7 AM. Manig Loeser upgraded his hotel room to include a dry sauna, expressing his satisfaction with the Loews Hotels experience. Mike McDonald, participating in the WPT with a CA$3,300 buy-in, was greeted by an 85-year-old woman who wished him luck in winning her money at the casino. Mike Sexton made what Patrick Leonard considered the best fold in poker history, although Sexton clarified that the fold was not as impressive as initially thought.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
