Steve Aoki Partners with World Poker Tour for Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown
Steve Aoki is appearing at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown as a partner of the World Poker Tour (WPT). The superstar DJ, musician, and producer inked a deal with the WPT in December 2021. Given his superstar status in the United States, Aoki is organizing a meet and greet for any fans who wish to speak to the man himself and maybe grab some signed Dim Mak gear.
The event kicked off on April 8, 2022, and will conclude on April 12, 2022. Adam Pliska, World Poker Tour CEO, expressed excitement about Steve Aoki's partnership with WPT, stating that "Steve Aoki brings an unmatched passion and energy to any venue."
Steve Aoki doesn't have any kind of a poker career record to boast of but he is known to be a mega-fan of the game. He is a friend of 16-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and last year made an appearance on the reboot of Poker After Dark alongside Dan Bilzerian.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
