Sportsbetting.ag Lowers Rake for Micro/Small Stakes Players and Adds New Promotions
Sportsbetting.ag is making significant changes to its rake structure and promotions, effective June 1, 2023. The platform is reducing its rake caps for micro/small stakes players, making games more profitable for all concerned.
The maximum rake for $0.05/$0.10 stakes is now capped at $1.50, down from $3. For $0.10/$0.25 stakes, the maximum rake is now $2.50, reduced from $3. Additionally, the maximum rake for $0.25/$0.50 stakes is now $3.50, down from $4, and for $0.50/$1 stakes, it is now $4, reduced from $5.
In addition to the reduced rake, Sportsbetting.ag is bringing back PLO fast-fold tables at $0.05/$0.10 and $0.10/$0.25 stakes. These games will now award points in the $500 Boost leaderboard, which pays out to the top 35 players every day. The new Multi-Day Monday Megastack tournament takes place at 8:00 pm ET, allowing players to qualify multiple times and take all their chips to the latter stage. Last Sunday, Dadddonk took down the $250,000 Sunday Main Event for $30,000. During June, Sportsbetting.ag will boost the guarantee and schedule another bigger end-of-the-month event on Sunday, June 25 at 1:30 pm ET.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
