Spanish Poker Championship Heats Up in Castellón

The Spanish Poker Championship (CEP) is being held at the Gran Casino Castellón Puerto Azahar from May 20 to May 24, 2015. The event includes satellites, the Main Event, and parallel tournaments with top national players. The Main Event starts on May 21, 2015, at 17:00 CET with a buy-in of 460€+40€.

The event calendar begins on May 20 with two satellites for the Main Event, followed by the Main Event itself on May 21. Additional tournaments include a parallel event on May 23 and a bounty tournament on May 24. Players can secure their seats through satellites hosted by CasinoBarcelona.es.

With five more stops remaining in the circuit, players have the opportunity to qualify for the Main Event at a reduced cost through the online satellites. The good weather, successful online satellite entries, and the appeal of the circuit are expected to draw a large crowd.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
