Lawyer Seeks Justice for High Rollers Cheated on Skillz Platform
Lawyer Mac Verstandig is seeking justice for two high rollers who lost significant amounts on the Skillz platform. Skillz is an online platform integrated with hundreds of mobile games where real-money tournaments are held. It is legal in 38 US states because it offers skill-based games.
The first client of Mac Verstandig is 19-year-old Alice Ball, a high roller in the game Blitz21. Alice Ball claims she lost $650,000 to an unknown scammer and reported it to Skillz, but her account was later blocked. Alice Ball contacted Skillz's CEO, Andrew Paradis, on Instagram to seek justice, but received inappropriate responses. Her account on Skillz was blocked and $28,000 was confiscated.
The second client of Mac Verstandig is John Prignano from Texas, who claims he accumulated enough points for a Porsche Boxster but was denied the reward. John Prignano's account was blocked and $286,000 was taken from his balance. Skillz claims that Alice and John are the scammers and their lawsuit is baseless.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
