Sergey Konovalov won the High Roller Club Warm Up tournament on PartyPoker. The tournament had a buy-in of $1,050 and a guarantee of $100,000. There were 99 entries, slightly short of the guarantee, resulting in a small overlay of $1,000.
Konovalov earned $24,500 for his victory. Nikita Bodryakovskiy, a well-known Belarusian high roller, finished as the runner-up, earning $17,500. Kristen Bicknell, one of the world's top female poker players, finished 12th, earning $2,500.
This victory adds to the growing list of successes for Russian-speaking high rollers in the High Roller Club series on PartyPoker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
