Samu Kelopuro's Epic Poker Session: Winning $1.25 Million in a Single Night
Poker player Samu Kelopuro started the year with near-zero results, focusing mainly on tournaments. His results improved significantly by the start of the SCOOP series, where he won approximately 500-600k. Kelopuro played in high-stakes games on GG, including tournaments with buy-ins up to 25k.
Kelopuro's biggest win in a single session was $1.25 million, achieved in a heads-up game on PartyPoker. His annual winnings dropped from 650k to around 400k over a few months. Kelopuro's most profitable tournament session of the year was on August 1, earning him $235k.
Kelopuro's opponent in the high-stakes heads-up game was an unknown player who lost $1.3 million. Kelopuro's biggest bankroll win in the session was 190k.
