Ryan Depaulo: From Parking Lot Poker to Pro Success

Ryan Depaulo's rise to poker stardom is nothing short of remarkable. He won WSOP gold and $160k while playing from a parking lot in New Jersey. His journey began with a love for poker, playing micro stakes online and occasionally at casinos. In 2018, he started his YouTube channel, which initially focused on gambling but later shifted to poker. This shift forced him to improve his poker skills to maintain his channel's content.

Depaulo's path to becoming a professional poker player is equally intriguing. He became an ACR sponsored pro through Jeff Boski, who saw potential in him and took a chance. Depaulo's biggest achievement so far is building his YouTube channel and poker game to the point where he could quit his day job. He attributes his success to studying and continuous learning, which he believes is more effective than just playing.

One of Depaulo's most significant accomplishments was his 2019 Colossus 3rd place finish for $200k. This win allowed him to invest in a coach and focus on poker and YouTube full-time. He documented his journey, making it relatable to casual players who dream of hitting it big with a low buy-in.
